Cost difference between silver and white fillings? - cost of white fillings

I want a white resin filling, but my insurance only covers the fillings of silver amalgam. For a non-white, should I pay my copay and the difference between white and silver. Everyone knows the average cost of white fillings and silver?

What is amalgam. Amalgams can corrode and leak, so that unsightly stains on the teeth and gums. Finally, the mercury-containing amalgam, 50 per cent, which is in some people, because the toxicity of mercury.

Composites (white resin) is also known that a little longer than amalgam does not conduct heat and cold as the metal is modified (I do not know if you have pressed a cold metal spoon against a metal filler. .. But it is a genuine zap to the tooth)

If I you I'd go with the white resin and pay the difference. According to the Internet, the compounds are generally about 25% more expensive.
