How often do you eat?
I go 2 days without food (on weekends)?
Does he need a lamp at the top of the aquarium?

Basic Care:
50 gallons tank +
Do you need some kind of light, does not need a lid on the tank.
You have a filter and a heater? Both needed.
You can eat food of high quality tropical flake (Tetra, etc.)
Just a thought: If you do not have a heater / filter again, please take the best of luck ... humanitarian projects!
